The Mission

This position exists to support the company’s strategic goals by assisting in professional HVAC installations while delivering a five-star customer experience that reflects our vision, mission, purpose, and values.

You will train under experienced technicians while building the technical, safety, and customer service skills required to advance into a Lead Installer role.

What You’ll DoInstallation Support & Skill Development

Assist in the installation of HVAC systems according to manufacturer specifications and company standards
Support completion of required install documentation and checklists
Learn and follow proper Lock Out/Tag Out safety procedures
Transport and stage materials, tools, and equipment efficiently
Maintain truck cleanliness, organization, and inventory accuracy
Read and interpret basic blueprints, installation plans, and manuals
Use tablets and mobile technology for job documentation

Customer Experience Excellence

Protect the customer’s home during installation
Leave every home cleaner than when you arrived
Communicate professionally with homeowners
Immediately notify leadership of service interruptions or safety concerns

Professional Standards

Follow safety protocols without exception
Maintain confidentiality regarding company and customer information
Commit to ongoing training and technical development
Perform additional duties as assigned to support team success

Qualifications

EPA Certified (or actively pursuing certification)
High School diploma or GED
Graduate of Total Tech or other HVAC training program (preferred)
Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record
Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
Ability to read blueprints, plans, and manuals
Comfortable using tablets, smartphones, GPS

Physical & Work Environment Expectations

This is a physically demanding, hands-on role. You must be able to:

Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions (70% of the time)
Climb ladders and stairs
Work in attics, crawlspaces, and tight areas
Lift 50+ pounds and maneuver heavier equipment with assistance
Carry a 24-ft extension ladder independently
Carry a 40-ft ladder with a team member
Occasionally work at heights of 15+ feet
Maintain strong visual acuity

This role requires stamina, focus, and safety awareness.

Projected Total Compensation: $35,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
