Job Overview
Our client is seeking multiple highly skilled and motivated Welders specializing in MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding to join their fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise welds on various metal components, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of durable, high-quality assemblies used across construction, manufacturing, and industrial sectors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your technical skills and foster professional growth. There are two shifts available, including overtime.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding on a variety of materials including sheet metal, and fuel tanks, following detailed blueprints and schematics.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and welding symbols to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to prepare materials for welding.
Conduct quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and weld quality.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following OSHA standards and company safety protocols.
Assist with rigging, pipe threading, assembly, and fabrication tasks as needed on construction sites or manufacturing floors.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while ensuring precision and safety in all welding activities.

Experience

Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of site safety procedures.
Demonstrated proficiency in MIG welding techniques across various materials; experience with FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) is a plus.
Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, mechanical knowledge, and basic math for precise measurements.
Experience operating rigging equipment such as cranes or forklifts is advantageous.
Ability to use calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, and plasma cutters effectively.
