Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator & Project Manager (E/PM) to lead Alaska-based commercial and industrial electrical projects. This role manages estimating, project setup, scheduling, logistics, cost control, client communication, and closeout. Alaska’s logistics, seasonal access, remote sites, and freight challenges require strong planning and adaptability.

Key Responsibilities Estimating & Bidding

Develop accurate estimates incorporating Alaska labor, logistics, and freight.

Prepare proposals and manage vendor/sub quotes.

Project Management

Review scope and risks; coordinate job activation and cost codes.

Plan procurement/logistics for barge, air freight, and remote access.

Lead kickoff, monitor schedule, manage procurement, track costs.

Maintain documentation and communication with field teams and clients.

RFIs, Changes & Documentation

Submit RFIs/DCVRs, price changes, update budgets, maintain logs.

Support monthly billing with accurate documentation.

Closeout

Deliver as-builts, inspections, O&Ms, punchlist.

Support final billing, retainage, and file archiving.

Qualifications

Required

3–7+ years electrical estimating/project management experience (Alaska preferred).

Knowledge of Alaska logistics, seasonal constraints, remote-site operations.

Proficiency with Microsoft 365/Teams, Excel, Bluebeam, etc.

Strong NEC and cold-weather installation knowledge.

Experience managing CUI in secure systems.

Strong communication and client skills.

Preferred

Alaska public projects and certified payroll experience.

Familiarity with Alaska utilities and AHJs.

OSHA 30 or Arctic/winter-work training.

Electrical trade background or technical degree.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
