Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager with a General Contractor License to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities

Selection & Hiring: Identifying, evaluating, and awarding contracts to specialized trade partners (e.g., electrical, plumbing, HVAC) based on qualifications and cost.
Scheduling: Creating detailed master schedules to sequence work logically, ensuring trades do not overlap or experience "lag time".
On-Site Management: Conducting weekly coordination meetings to resolve conflicts, monitor progress, and verify that subcontractors adhere to the CPM schedule.
Quality & Safety Oversight: Inspecting subcontractor work daily to ensure it meets design specifications, building codes, and safety protocols.
Contract Administration: Managing, processing invoices, and verifying that all trade partners have proper insurance and safety training (OSHA 10/30)
Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and safety standards.
Develop detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to coordinate timelines effectively.
Oversee project scope, contracts, and change orders while maintaining clear communication with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation on-site.
Manage project documentation including daily reports, safety logs, RFIs (Requests for Information), and progress updates.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality control, safety compliance, and resolve any issues promptly.
Utilize advanced construction estimating techniques and HeavyBid or similar software for cost control and resource allocation.
Coordinate procurement activities and manage subcontractor relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Implement project management best practices using tools like ProCore or Bluebeam for seamless communication and documentation sharing.
Lead project meetings to align teams on objectives, timelines, risks, and deliverables while fostering a collaborative environment.

Skills

Proven experience in construction site management with a strong understanding of civil engineering principles such as Civil 3D.
Expertise in construction management software including Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools.
Excellent project scheduling skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, contracts administration, and construction estimating.
Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
Demonstrated leadership in project coordination across diverse teams including contractors, suppliers, and clients.
Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and compliance standards.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements while maintaining focus on deliverables.
