Job Title: Systems Supervisor – Commercial Contracting: (IT & Low-Voltage Systems)

Location: Office: Walterboro, SC (with regional travel as required as job sites are regional)

About the Role

The Systems Supervisor at PakNet Technologies is responsible for assisting as part of ADMIN TEAM any planning, coordinating, and executing commercial IT, low-voltage, security, AV, and infrastructure projects from start to finish which may include:

The bidding process
Planning or Procuring
Deploying Materials or Equipment
Scheduling or Coordinating
Timeline tracking
Programming or Configuring, punchlists and/or final closeouts.

This role owns project execution, timelines, scope, and accountability, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to PakNet’s Quality standards. The Systems Supervisor acts as the primary bridge between sales, engineering, field technicians, finance, and the customer.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution ( Handled as a TEAM EFFORT from ADMIN TEAM )

Take ownership of projects once sold and ensure a clean handoff from sales
Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource requirements
Coordinate internal technicians, subcontractors, and vendors
Manage multiple active projects simultaneously across commercial environments
Ensure projects meet scope, quality, and contractual requirements

Scope, Budget & Cost Control

Review project scope, estimates, and contracts prior to execution
Track labor hours, materials, and subcontractor costs against budget
Work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure accurate job costing
Identify potential scope creep and manage change orders proactively
Protect project margins through disciplined cost and scope management

Field & Technical Coordination

Coordinate scheduling for field technicians and installers
Ensure all materials, equipment, and documentation are ready prior to deployment
Oversee installations involving:
Structured low-voltage cabling
Network infrastructure
Security systems (CCTV, access control)
AV and conferencing systems
Large square-footage commercial facilities
Act as escalation point for on-site issues impacting project delivery

Client Communication

Serve as primary point of contact for clients during project execution
Provide regular project status updates and timelines
Coordinate with building managers, general contractors, and other trades
Ensure client expectations are aligned throughout the project lifecycle

Documentation & Closeout

Ensure accurate project documentation including:
Scope of work
Change orders
As-built drawings
Equipment lists and warranties
Confirm project completion and obtain client sign-off
Coordinate with Finance for final billing and closeout

Process, Safety & Accountability

Enforce PakNet’s standard operating procedures (SOPs) on all projects
Ensure job sites follow safety standards and best practices
Participate in weekly Operations or Management Accountability Meetings
Identify process improvements to improve delivery speed, quality, and margins

3–5+ years of project management experience in:
Commercial IT
Low-voltage systems
Security and AV
Structured cabling or technology infrastructure
Strong understanding of project-based service delivery
Experience managing labor, materials, schedules, and vendors
Ability to read and interpret scopes of work, drawings, and contracts
Strong organizational and communication skills

Pay: Up to $68,500.00 per year
