Ridgemark Home Remodeling is a local contracting business, providing service throughout Worcester County, Metro-West, and the Boston area. Our work includes kitchen and bathroom remodeling, additions, custom carpentry, as well as various other interior and exterior projects. Our home shop is in Shrewsbury, MA. We are seeking a skilled carpenter with prior experience in the industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with expertise in various carpentry techniques. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality craftsmanship on remodeling projects.

Responsibilities

Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed.
Install windows, doors, staircases, and frame buildings using raw materials or pre-constructed items.
Installation of general building materials and cabinetry to plan specification.
Inspect job sites as needed and conduct repairs or maintenance.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Skills

Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation.
Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools.
Good knowledge of English and understanding of basic math.
Physically able to perform duties related to job description.
Understanding of job safety and ability to maintain a safe job site.
General understanding of construction plans and blueprints.

Requirements

Complete set of hand tools related to construction field.
Active Driver's License.

Pay: $19.00 - $30.00 per hour
