Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing installations meet safety standards, building codes, and client specifications. Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites and during remodeling projects
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts
Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, assemble plumbing components
Conduct system inspections to ensure proper function and compliance with safety regulations
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to site safety protocols
Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate project tasks
Troubleshoot mechanical issues within plumbing systems using mechanical knowledge and basic math skills

Skills

Extensive experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing codes and standards
Proficiency in welding, pipe threading, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and general mechanical principles related to plumbing installations
Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and assembly tools effectively
Ability to read construction plans accurately and follow detailed schematics for complex installations
Field service experience working on commercial or residential construction sites
Familiarity with remodeling, maintenance tasks, handyman work, and basic carpentry skills
Valid commercial driver’s license preferred for site transportation needs
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and quality workmanship
