Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced part-time machine welder to join our team. This role involves primarily MIG and TIG welding of light and heavy gauge sheet-metal components. The ability to set up and operate a spot welder is a plus. The position offers part-time hours between 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM, any two days per week. We welcome applications from semi-retired professionals seeking steady, rewarding part-time work.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate MIG and TIG welders (primarily light to medium gauge sheet metal)
Follow detailed drawings and specifications to ensure accurate welds
(Optional) Set up and operate spot welding equipment
Maintain clean and safe work practices

Qualifications:
Required:

Hands-on experience welding light and heavy gauge sheet metal
Proficiency with MIG (wire-fed) and TIG (Heliarc) welding
Ability to read and interpret technical detail drawings

Preferred:

Experience with spot welding
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Reliable and self-motivated work ethic

Additional Information:

Schedule: Flexible hours between 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, any two days per week.
Weekly Commitment: Minimum of 10 hours, up to 16 hours
Work Environment: Join a dedicated, close-knit team of fewer than 30 employees in a modern, air-conditioned facility

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
