Role: Lead Fire Sprinkler Estimator (Remote)

The Objective

Our organization operates a high-growth portfolio of fire protection companies across key Southeastern and Sunbelt markets. We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-obsessed Lead Fire Protection Estimator to serve as the central hub of our bidding architecture. You must be a dual-threat operator: capable of performing your own complex takeoffs from scratch, while seamlessly receiving, verifying, and distributing the initial-phase estimates generated by our internal remote team. You are not just building bids; you are managing the pipeline and closing the contracts.

The Operational Architecture (Your Responsibilities)

Full-Cycle Estimating: Perform highly accurate, raw material takeoffs directly from architectural and mechanical blueprints for your own assigned projects.
Pipeline Management & Distribution: Act as the central gatekeeper. Receive initial-phase project estimates from our internal remote team, verify the data, finalize the pricing, and distribute bidding workflow to ensure zero bottlenecks.
The Follow-Up (The Closer): You own the outcome. Relentlessly track all submitted bids, interface directly with General Contractors to defend the numbers, and secure the final contracts across all our active regional markets.
Code Compliance: Ensure all bids strictly adhere to NFPA 13, 13R, 14, 20, and specific local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) amendments.
Material & Labor Costing: Interface directly with suppliers to lock in highly accurate pricing modules, eliminating margin erosion before a project ever breaks ground.

The Kinetic Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of dedicated fire sprinkler estimating, with a proven track record of managing a bid pipeline from raw takeoff to final contract execution.
Code Fluency: Deep, working knowledge of NFPA 13, 13R, 14, and 20. You must know how to navigate local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) amendments across various regional markets to ensure bids are mathematically sound.
Tech Stack: Proficiency in industry-standard estimating software and remote collaboration tools. (Note: Emberstone provides all enterprise software licenses, e.g. AutoCAD/HydraCAD/Bluebeam).

The Compensation Structure

Full-time, 100% remote position.
Base Salary: $62,000 (Commensurate with raw estimating experience and industry track record).
