Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction HVAC Installer Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating ventilation, and air conditioning ( HVAC) systems in large commercial buildings requiring a high level of technical expertise to ensure proper system function and compliance with building codes and project specifications.

Duties:

Installing complete HVAC systems including furnaces, air handlers, ductwork, and associated components according to blueprints and project plans.
Precisely measuring, cutting, and fitting ductwork to ensure proper airflow and system efficiency.
Installing electrical wiring and controls for HVAC systems.
Mounting and securing HVAC equipment and duct on designated locations within the building.

Requirements:

Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, including principles of thermodynamics, refrigeration cycles, and electrical systems.
Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret construction drawings and blueprints to accurately install HVAC systems.
Hand and Power Tools: Proficiency in using a variety of hand tools and power equipment, including sheet metal fabrication tools, welding equipment, and electrical tools.
Physical Ability: Capability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and maintain a physically demanding work schedule.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC issues.
Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with other construction crew members and project managers.
