What we do - Roll forming - Laser Cutting - CNC / Stretch Bending - Assembly
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Tool Room Manager to lead our tool room. In the New build and maintainance of:

PRE-NOTCH DIES, SECONDARY DIES, CUT-OFF DIES, STAMPING DIES, FIXTURES AND GAGES

Job Duties

Oversee daily tooling support for production and new build; plan die repairs and prevenative maintenance for all tool room activities and CNC department.
Identify root causes of inefficiencies, and implement process improvements.
Reveiw and Coordinate all work orders and close before production.
Attend die design reviews related to engineering changes and new launches.
Work with Design, and Program team to implement Engineering changes.
Support Quality with improving and maintaining tool/dies and other equipment.
Track downtime and PM performance for continual improvment.
Maintain tool room equipment and keep the tool room clean, safe, and organized.
Assist tool makers as this is considered a working managment position.

Experience

Proven experience within stamping, roll forming, or tool and die manufacturing.
Expertise in process improvement methodologies including root cause analysis and lean practices to enhance operational efficiency.
Hands-on experience with all tool room machines and functions.
Must have sheet metal stamping die experience.
Inspect parts off die, and help with die try-out of new program launches.
Organize tool building process with tool room, edm, and engineering.
Strong leadership qualities with the capacity to manage a team effectively while fostering a safety-conscious environment focused on continuous improvement.
