Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welding Fabricator to join our team. This role involves cutting, shaping, assembling, and welding metal components to create finished products according to specifications and blueprints. The ideal candidate has strong fabrication skills, attention to detail, and experience with a variety of welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications
Measure, cut, and prepare metal materials using saws, shears, and other tools
Perform welding using MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-Cored processes
Fabricate and assemble metal structures, components, and equipment
Ensure all work meets quality standards and project specifications
Operate fabrication equipment such as press brakes, rollers, and grinders
Inspect finished products for accuracy, fit, and structural integrity
Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition
Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet deadlines

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required
Welding certification (preferred but not always required)
Proven experience in welding and metal fabrication
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measurements accurately
Familiarity with fabrication tools and machinery
Basic math skills for measurements and layout work

Working Conditions

Work performed in a shop or industrial environment

May require lifting heavy materials
