Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Trim Carpenter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, finishing, and building custom railing systems for high end residential interior and exterior decks, patios & staircases. Your expertise will contribute to delivering high-quality craftsmanship that meets project specifications and client expectations.

Duties

Measure, cut, assemble, and install trim components such as baseboards, crown molding, door casings, window trims, wainscoting, and custom millwork with precision.
Read and interpret schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation aligned with project requirements.
Use hand tools (saws, chisels, hammers) and power tools (mitre saw, drills, nail guns, sanders) safely and efficiently to complete tasks.
Collaborate with framing carpenters and other trades to ensure seamless integration of trim work within larger construction or remodeling projects.
Prepare surfaces by caulking, filling gaps with putty or spackle, sanding smooth, and applying finishing touches for a polished appearance.
Assist in pick up framing tasks when necessary.
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites.

Experience

Proven experience in trim carpentry within residential or commercial construction settings.
Hands-on experience with blueprint reading and schematics to accurately execute detailed designs.
Familiarity with various carpentry disciplines including frame carpentry, cabinetry installation, door hanging, and fixture mounting.
Competence in operating hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in diverse environments.
Knowledge of construction site safety standards and ability to perform heavy lifting when required.
