We are currently hiring Circular Saw Welders for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a well-established manufacturing client. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced welders seeking long-term employment with room for growth.

Job Responsibilities

Set up and operate manual and automated welding equipment.
Perform welding using Flux Core (FCAW), MIG (GMAW), Stick (SMAW), and Submerged Arc (SAW) processes.
Prepare, fit, tack, and weld metal components according to blueprints and production specifications.
Operate flame/plasma cutting equipment and grinders to prepare materials and repair welds.
Inspect completed welds to ensure quality standards are met.
Perform basic equipment inspections and routine maintenance.
Safely operate overhead cranes, rigging, and other material handling equipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of welding experience in heavy fabrication or manufacturing.
Experience with Flux Core (FCAW) welding required.
Ability to read blueprints, production drawings, and work instructions.
Welding certification or technical school training is a plus.
Must successfully pass a pre-employment welding test.
Must be able to pass basic reading and math assessments.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Physical Requirements

Lift up to 75 pounds.
Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the workday.
Work at heights and on uneven surfaces.
Wear required PPE, including respirators when necessary.
Operate grinders and welding equipment for extended periods.

Work Environment

Work is performed in a heavy industrial manufacturing facility with exposure to loud machinery, welding operations, grinding sparks, and fabrication equipment. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment while following all safety procedures.
