Job Overview
We are seeking an and entry level to mid level Estimator/Project Manager to join our estimating team in the roofing industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong work ethic and a basic understanding of the roofing construction process. This position will report to the lead Estimator and General Manager and work closely with field personnel and supervisors to ensure the absolute best finished product for our clients.

Duties

Inspect roof systems, water displacement systems, and all components of the exterior building envelope and produce accurate documentation of the existing conditions.
Prepare detailed estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other documentation.
Utilize software tools to create precise cost assessments.
Collaborate with project managers and field supervisors to develop budgets and ensure alignment with project goals.
Conduct thorough reviews of contracts to identify potential risks and opportunities for cost control.
Monitor construction site activities to gather data for accurate pricing and resource allocation.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and pricing strategies.

Qualifications

Experience in construction estimating or a related field is a plus but not required.
Experience with Edge estimating software and Xactimate is a plus.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate cost calculations.
Strong project management capabilities with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and subcontractors.
A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
