We are seeking a sheet metal lead for the small projects division of our service department. The function of the lead is to be point of contact in the installation of residential and commercial HVAC systems in newly built/renovated projects. A focus on safety, quality, efficiency, and total customer satisfaction is required. A candidate for this position must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and be able to work full-time in all year-round weather conditions.

Job Description/Duties:

Installation of HVAC systems and duct work
Aid in the installation of refrigeration systems
Installation of various metal products related to the industry
Ability to work independently
Experience reading blueprints
Comprehension of submittals and job specifications
Must be willing to work in a fast-paced team environment

Required:

High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license
Reliable transportation
Must have set of basic hand tools

Desired Qualifications:

NH gas fitter’s license
EPA certification
Fabrication experience
Knowledge of SMACMA Construction Standards
Aerial boom and scissor lift training
Signalman certification
Basic Rigger’s Certification
ACCA certification (preferred not required)
MA sheet metal license (preferred not required)

None

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift & carry 50 pounds
Prolonged periods of standing/walking
Often squatting, reaching and working overhead
Capacity to climb stairs
Work at varying heights while on a ladder
Ability to work in all indoor and outdoor climates year-round
