Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finishing concrete surfaces, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and adhering to safety standards. This role requires a strong understanding of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques, as well as the ability to operate various tools and equipment effectively.

Responsibilities

Prepare and set up work areas for concrete pouring, including formwork and reinforcement placement.
Operate heavy equipment and power tools, such as concrete mixers and trowels, to finish surfaces smoothly.
Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate measurements and specifications are followed.
Perform heavy lifting and physical labor as required during the concrete pouring process.
Apply various finishing techniques to achieve desired surface textures and appearances.
Collaborate with other construction team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and guidelines.
Assist in masonry tasks, metal stud framing, and other related construction activities as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or in a similar role within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation, power tools, and concrete finishing techniques.
Familiarity with masonry work, metal stud framing, and construction estimating is a plus.
Ability to read blueprints accurately and follow detailed instructions.
Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for long periods during shifts.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members on-site.
