Witkowski Mechanical LLC is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Mechanic for full-time residential ductwork installations in Baltimore City. This lead-level position offers a high degree of independence, steady work, and the opportunity to grow with a trusted mechanical team.

Responsibilities:

Install and fabricate residential sheet metal ductwork according to mechanical drawings
Collaborate with the Project Manager to design and install complete duct systems
Serve as the lead installer on full-house renovation projects
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite
Ensure all work complies with Maryland State Code, local regulations, and OSHA safety standards
Maintain your assigned company work truck and tools
Adhere to company safety protocols including PPE, ladder safety, and confined space precautions

Other Duties:

Assist in setting HVAC equipment (air handlers, furnaces, condensers, etc.)
Help run copper refrigerant and drain lines
Support occasional light commercial sheet metal jobs
Assist with other HVAC-related tasks as needed

Qualifications:

5+ years of hands-on experience in HVAC sheet metal installation (residential required)
Strong knowledge of Maryland mechanical code
Able to read blueprints and layout plans
Valid driver’s license (required)
Physically fit to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, or elevated areas
Skilled in both metal and flex duct installations
Leadership mindset with ability to work independently and guide team members
