To work under the direction of a journeyman and/or plumber, assisting in installation of new plumbing rough-ins and maintaining existing plumbing systems. Demonstrating continual growth and understanding of the plumbing trade while retaining the training and knowledge taught.

Position: Apprentice Plumber - New Construction

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience

Hours: 6:30am to 2:30pm, some overtime as needed

Schedule: Monday through Friday, with some weekends and evenings required but rarely

Location: Inland Empire

Essential Functions:

Assisting Foreman or plumbers with the installation of new plumbing rough-ins and finish
Learning plumbing code and the correct way to install plumbing systems
Practicing jobsite safety and jobsite organization
Safe use of power tools
Material handling and general labor
Demonstrating continual growth and understanding of the plumbing trade while retaining the training and knowledge taught.
Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

Qualifications/Experience:

Previous experience in construction and plumbing a plus!
Desire to learn and willingness to commit to learning a trade
Mechanical experience or aptitude
Goal oriented
Ability to work hours which may include evenings and weekends
Professional appearance and demeanor to reflect well on the trade and business
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
Has basic hand tools
Ability to get oneself to and from work reliably
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
