Job Title: Underground Utility Installer

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Underground Utility Installer to assist with the installation of water, sewer, and storm drain systems. This position involves working outdoors, operating basic tools and equipment, and supporting excavation and pipe installation crews.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with installation of underground utilities (water, sewer, storm drain)
Perform trenching, shoring, pipe laying, and backfilling
Read and follow plans, grade stakes, and instructions from supervisors
Use hand tools, power tools, and small equipment safely
Maintain a clean and safe job site
Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
Work as part of a crew to complete projects efficiently

Requirements

Prior construction or underground utility experience (required)
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and perform manual labor
Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. (required)
Strong work ethic and reliability

Preferred Skills

Experience with pipe installation (PVC, HDPE, ductile iron)
Equipment operation (excavator, skid steer, trench compactor)
Ability to read blueprints and grades
