Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Estimator to support the planning and execution of fabrication and construction projects. In this role, you will be responsible for accurate cost estimating, interpreting drawings, and supporting project delivery from concept through production.

This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in Fusion 360, CAD, and Excel, along with a practical understanding of construction and fabrication processes.

Responsibilities

Review drawings, specs, and project documents
Perform takeoffs and prepare detailed cost estimates
Work with Fusion 360 and CAD files to interpret and quantify parts
Build and maintain estimating spreadsheets in Excel
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for pricing
Collaborate with internal team on scope, design, and feasibility
Assist in developing proposals and bid packages
Track project costs and update estimates as needed
Create detailed shop drawings for all awarded projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with fabrication requirements

Skills & Qualifications

Experience with Fusion 360 and/or similar CAD software
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Background in construction, fabrication, or manufacturing
Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Preferred

Experience in metal fabrication or architectural products
Familiarity with estimating workflows or project management systems
Understanding of materials, finishes, and fabrication processes

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
