Hiring temporary contract position for single tenant improvement commercial job in Summit County, Colorado. Per diem and hotel included, on top of wage. Can turn into permanent role after this job concludes. (1099 transition to W-2)

In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably, contributing to the success of our construction and service operations. Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites and in existing buildings
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise plumbing layouts
Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and effectively
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment necessary for plumbing installations or repairs
Collaborate with construction teams to ensure plumbing work aligns with project specifications and safety standards
Conduct routine maintenance inspections and troubleshoot mechanical issues related to plumbing or HVAC systems
Follow all safety protocols and adhere to local building codes during installation and repair tasks

Requirements

Valid Journeyman Plumber license or certification recognized by relevant authorities
Proven experience in construction plumbing, site work, or field service environments
Strong knowledge of construction practices including carpentry, remodeling, and general maintenance
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical diagrams accurately
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding tools, and schematics reading
Mechanical aptitude with understanding of HVAC systems and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Physical capability for heavy lifting, climbing ladders/scaffolding, and working in confined spaces
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not required; willingness to obtain if necessary
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues on-site

Pay: $22.00 - $40.05 per hour
