Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems across various properties, ensuring optimal indoor air quality and climate control. Duties

Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, and ventilation equipment.
Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system calibrations, and equipment inspections to prevent breakdowns.
Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including pipe fitting and leak repairs.
Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to repair electrical components and mechanical parts of HVAC units.
Diagnose complex issues involving ammonia refrigeration or HVAC/R systems with precision.
Ensure compliance with safety standards during all maintenance activities and document work performed thoroughly.

Requirements

Proven experience as a service technician in construction or property maintenance environments with a focus on HVAC systems.
Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC components, refrigeration systems, plumbing, and appliance repair.
Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design plans effectively.
Field service experience with a track record of diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical or electrical issues.
Familiarity with equipment repair techniques including welding and boiler maintenance.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; familiarity with driver requirements preferred.
Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and HVAC/R certifications is highly desirable.
Proficiency using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other electrical testing devices.

Pay: $24.49 - $35.00 per hour
