Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Alarm Technician with experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of alarm systems, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally and meet safety standards. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, low voltage wiring, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Fire Alarm Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality service to our clients.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair various alarm systems including fire alarms and security alarms.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and CAD drawings to ensure accurate installation.
Conduct construction inspections to verify compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation tasks.
Design alarm systems based on client specifications and site requirements.
Perform field service tasks including troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions for alarm system sales.
Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during installations.

Skills

Proficient in blueprint reading and system design.
Experience with CAD software for designing alarm layouts.
Knowledge of fire sprinkler fitting and mechanical systems.
Strong field service skills with hands-on experience in alarm system installation.
Familiarity with low voltage electrical systems and NEC regulations.
Ability to work with various sensors and alarm components effectively.
Previous experience in alarm system sales or fire alarm sales is a plus.
Solid understanding of construction practices related to electrical installations.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
