Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician with a minimum of 3-5 years experience to join our team and deliver exceptional service in maintaining, repairing and installing primarily residential and light commercial HVAC systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to apply their mechanical expertise, technical skills, and passion for property maintenance. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring optimal operation of heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. Your proactive approach will help us maintain comfortable environments and ensure the safety and efficiency of our customers HVAC systems.

Duties

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioning units, boilers, and ventilation systems.
Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
Perform routine inspections of mechanical equipment to identify potential problems before they escalate.
Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems such as water heater installations, condensate drains, and domestic water supply lines.
Perform basic plumbing work such as fixture upgrades and domestic water piping.
Utilize tools such as multimeters for electrical diagnostics, cordless power tools and welding equipment for repairs and installation when necessary.
Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and logs of all maintenance activities performed.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and local building codes during all service operations.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC repair, installation, and maintenance.
Knowledge of construction principles related to building systems and property maintenance.
Familiarity with schematics and HVAC design concepts.
Mechanical knowledge covering appliances repair, boiler operation, welding techniques, and equipment repair.
Hands-on experience with field service operations involving air conditioning units, heating systems, plumbing components, and boiler systems.
Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively in troubleshooting electrical issues.
Strong mechanical aptitude combined with property maintenance skills; previous mechanic or HVAC/R (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) experience is highly desirable.
