We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and be proficient in various electrical tasks. This role requires a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and adherence to the National Electrical Code (NEC). As a Journeyperson Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in both residential and industrial settings.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to NEC standards.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various electrical tasks.
Conduct tests using voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
Work with logic controllers for automation systems as required.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on job sites to ensure project completion.
Adhere to safety protocols while working with high voltage systems.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

Valid Journeyperson Electrician license or equivalent certification.
Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
Experience with industrial electrical work preferred; familiarity with high voltage systems is a plus.
Strong skills in using hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, and ohmmeters.
Knowledge of frame carpentry is advantageous but not mandatory.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in diverse environments.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
