Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive electrical expertise, including experience with commercial, industrial, and renovation projects. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems across various construction sites and facilities. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, working with low and high voltage systems, and adhering to electrical codes such as the National Electrical Code (NEC). Duties

Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and renovation environments using hand tools and power tools.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to execute precise electrical work.
Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and high voltage equipment to ensure operational functionality.
Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems, including testing with ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools.
Ensure all work complies with NEC standards, local codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
Collaborate with construction teams such as frame carpenters and general contractors to coordinate installation schedules.
Utilize schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently on construction sites or existing facilities.
Assist in the renovation of existing electrical systems by upgrading wiring or components as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following proper safety protocols at all times.
Provide handyman services related to electrical needs on-site when necessary.

Skills

Extensive experience working as an industrial or commercial electrician on construction sites.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for accurate installations.
Strong knowledge of NEC standards for residential, commercial, and industrial wiring.
Ability to operate hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, along with power tools like drills and saws safely.
Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems.
Familiarity with high voltage systems and their safe handling procedures.
Skilled in using diagnostic tools including ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues.
Knowledge of construction processes including framing carpentry and renovation techniques.
Ability to interpret schematics accurately for complex wiring configurations.
