Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment, including HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and appliances to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals, diagnosing problems accurately and swiftly.
Repair or replace faulty components in HVAC/R systems, air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and other machinery as needed.
Conduct inspections of mechanical systems and electrical panels to identify potential issues before they escalate.
Assist with construction or renovation projects by providing mechanical expertise and ensuring safety standards are met.
Lead small maintenance teams or coordinate with contractors during complex repairs or upgrades.
Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and future reference.

Experience

Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician in a commercial or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and mechanical troubleshooting.
Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints accurately.
Familiarity with construction practices related to building maintenance or upgrades is a plus.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide or supervise other technicians when necessary.
Hands-on experience with equipment repair, preventative maintenance programs, and safety procedures.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
