Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Multifamily Maintenance Technician to join our team in Oak Lawn and surrounding areas, IL. This role is responsible for maintaining the overall condition and functionality of a multifamily residential portfolio. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in general maintenance, unit turnovers, and troubleshooting a variety of systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs across multiple residential units and common areas
Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, plumbing issues, electrical components, and appliances
Complete unit turnovers efficiently, including painting, flooring installation/repairs, and thorough cleaning
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls as needed
Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure long-term property condition and safety
Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and company policies

Qualifications:

2+ years of maintenance experience in multifamily or residential settings preferred
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repair
Ability to handle unit turnovers from start to finish
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
HVAC certification is a plus
Expericne of property managment software is a plus

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
