Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and oversee civil engineering design projects from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage project timelines, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality design projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, design, and regulatory approval processes for various types of land development design projects.
Develop project schedules and track project timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to align project goals and resolve issues promptly.
Review drawings, designs, and permit applications to ensure high quality designs and consistency with regulatory requirements.
Manage the work of sub-consultants to ensure a cohesive design team.
Utilize tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and Microsoft Office for documentation, communication, and progress tracking.
Communicate effectively with the design team and regulatory officials.
Observe site construction to ensure consistency with the design documents.

Skills

Proven experience in land development design with strong project coordination skills.
Ability to lead a design team and colleagues as needed to meet project schedules, budgets, and design details.
Familiarity with contracts management and negotiation processes within the land development design industry.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present projects at design team meetings and in front of municipal agencies like planning commissions and Board of Supervisors.
Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately for seamless project execution
