Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our manufacturing facility team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Your expertise will help keep production running smoothly and safely, supporting our commitment to quality and reliability. Duties

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, HVAC systems, and industrial machinery.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using schematics, precision measuring instruments, ammeters, ohmmeters, and analysis skills.
Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, belts, valves, sensors, and wiring in accordance with safety standards.
Operate specialized tools including welders (including welding), scissor lifts, and other field service equipment to access hard-to-reach areas.
Interpret technical schematics and control diagrams for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and industrial electrical systems to diagnose issues accurately.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Collaborate with the manufacturing team to optimize equipment performance and implement process improvements.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to high voltage systems, low voltage controls, HVAC/R systems, and industrial electrician standards.
Support customer service initiatives by providing technical assistance during field service visits or troubleshooting sessions.

Skills

Extensive experience working within manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial mechanics.
Proficiency in reading schematics, control diagrams, and technical manuals related to industrial equipment.
Hands-on experience with hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, welding (including welding), and precision measuring instruments.
Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and their programming or troubleshooting is highly desirable.
Electrical experience including low voltage systems, high voltage safety procedures, ammeters, ohmmeters, and analysis skills.
Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and documentation.
Strong customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly in English.
Ability to perform field service tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced environment.
Industrial mechanic experience complemented by analysis skills for diagnosing complex issues quickly.
