CONSTRUCTION/CARPENTRY POSITION (Paso Robles)

Job Description:
Daniels Wood Land, Inc (DWL) is seeking a highly-motivated experienced Carpenter (must have more than 5 years experience) who can build unique out of the ordinary projects and theming related products. Must have mechanical aptitude and artistic capabilities with attention to detail.

Job Requirements:

Construction: Building structures and fixtures using various types of materials.
Reading Blueprint: Interpreting blueprints, sketches, and building plans to prepare project layouts and determine dimensions and material requirements.
Framing and Installation: Installing building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes, as well as windows, doors, and trim.
Tool Proficiency: Using a variety of hand and power tools, including saws, levels, and measuring tools.
Quality Control: “Do it Right the First Time” Inspecting the finished product to meet production standards and timelines.
Supervision and Training: Potentially supervising apprentices, sharing knowledge, training.

Skills & Qualifications

Experience: a minimum of 5 years of experience as a carpenter.
Technical Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints, using hand and power tools, and applying carpentry techniques.
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other team members.
Finish projects: Ability to work with Project Manager to achieve project deadlines.
Physical Abilities: Able to lift 50lbs and carry heavy materials.
Work Ethic: Strong work ethic, keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a team setting.
Good Attendance: Showing up on time and ready to work.
Safety Knowledge: Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction site safety practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
