Overview
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Metal Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Duties

Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes.
Operate various hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and welding equipment including MIG, TIG, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding techniques to produce accurate metal parts.
Measure materials precisely using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices to ensure adherence to specifications.
Fabricate sheet metal components and ductwork for construction or manufacturing applications, following ASME codes & standards.
Perform welding tasks on diverse materials such as steel, aluminum, and other metals while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Use rigging and crane operations for lifting heavy materials safely during fabrication or assembly processes.
Conduct pipe threading, machining, soldering, and plasma cutting as required for complex projects.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols; utilize schematics for assembly and fabrication tasks effectively.
Assist with mechanical assembly of fabricated parts into finished products or structures.
Support construction site activities when necessary, demonstrating flexibility across various project phases.

Qualifications

Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of building safety protocols.
Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, plasma cutting, and welding techniques.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, and machining equipment.
Knowledge of ASME codes & standards relevant to fabrication and welding practices.
Experience operating cranes, forklifts, rigging equipment, and pipe threading tools safely.
Mechanical knowledge encompassing ductwork fabrication, pipe assembly, soldering, and sheet metal work.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential to fabrication precision.
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills in a manufacturing or construction environment.
