Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a solid understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. The HVAC Technician will work on various projects, ensuring that heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems are functioning optimally for our clients.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems.
Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC design.
Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct field service calls to address customer concerns and provide solutions.
Repair or replace defective components using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment.
Collaborate with construction teams to integrate HVAC systems into new builds.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work performed.
Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used for each job.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an HVAC technician or similar role in the field service industry.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair and property maintenance.
Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Knowledge of plumbing and boiler systems is advantageous.
Valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.

What You Need

2+ years of residential HVAC experience
EPA certification (or ability to obtain)
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Must pass background check and drug screening
Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, and lift heavy HVAC equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour
