Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Welder/Fabricator with strong MIG and TIG welding skills. This role involves working with a variety of materials, including stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum, to produce high-quality custom fabrications. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, can work independently, and is comfortable solving problems in a hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum components
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication prints
Fabricate, assemble, and finish metal products to precise specifications
Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy
Troubleshoot fabrication challenges and recommend practical solutions
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Occasionally travel to job sites as needed

Qualifications

Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding
Strong ability to read and understand blueprints and fabrication drawings
Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated commitment to quality craftsmanship
Experience working with stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
Valid driver’s license (required)
Willingness to travel occasionally

Preferred Skills

Stainless steel finishing and polishing experience
Familiarity with shop tools and fabrication equipment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
