We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HVAC Estimator to join our team and drive the success of our heating, ventilation, and air conditioning projects. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project specifications, and collaborating closely with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and successful project execution. Responsibilities

Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to develop comprehensive HVAC estimates using industry-standard software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam.
Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs and pricing analysis for HVAC systems, including equipment, materials, labor, and subcontractor costs.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project scope and requirements, ensuring accurate bid proposals.
Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards.
Prepare detailed bid proposals that clearly outline scope of work, costs, and timelines for review by stakeholders.
Assist in contract negotiations and review contractual terms related to HVAC scope of work.
Monitor project budgets during execution to ensure adherence to cost control measures and identify potential overruns early.
Support construction site teams by providing technical guidance on HVAC installation processes and project management best practices.

Experience

Proven experience in construction estimating with a focus on HVAC systems within commercial or industrial projects.
Strong knowledge of construction estimating software such as HeavyBid; proficiency in Bluebeam is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to perform accurate quantity takeoffs, pricing, and cost analysis for complex HVAC systems.
Familiarity with construction site operations, safety protocols, and construction management principles.
Experience negotiating contracts and managing relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
Solid understanding of construction contracts, project management methodologies, and cost control strategies.
