Duties

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and mechanical equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan.
Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools; execute repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.
Repair or replace faulty components in air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and other mechanical equipment with precision.
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to troubleshoot complex systems effectively.
Lead small maintenance projects or team efforts when necessary, demonstrating strong leadership skills.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and system conditions for compliance and future reference.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from various departments to ensure continuous operations.

Experience

Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician in commercial or industrial settings.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and equipment repair.
Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic procedures for complex mechanical systems.
Knowledge of construction principles related to building maintenance and system installation.
Experience in troubleshooting air conditioning systems and refrigeration units with an emphasis on HVAC/R technology.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coordinate tasks efficiently within a team environment.
Prior experience in maintenance roles that require attention to detail, safety protocols, and proactive problem-solving. Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
