Position Summary

Thrive Project Resources is seeking a Licensed Industrial Electrician (licensed in Arkansas) to lead the electrical installation team on an industrial project in Little Rock, Arkansas. This role is responsible for directing daily field work, supporting electrical and controls installation activities, verifying quality, and helping ensure the project area is powered, wired, mounted, aligned, terminated, and ready for commissioning support.

The ideal candidate has strong industrial electrical experience, an active Arkansas electrical license, proven leadership ability, and the technical confidence to guide helpers, electricians, and installation personnel in a fast paced project environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Hands on leadership and direction of the electrical team in daily installation, wiring, routing, termination, inspection, and troubleshooting activities.

· Coordinate field execution to help ensure assigned project areas have required power from the Power Distribution Box to main panels in control houses, control desks, control posts, motor boxes, control boxes, sensors, accessories, and other assigned equipment.

· Ensure completion of the installation, routing, labeling, dressing, and termination of power wiring and control wiring in accordance with project drawings, site standards, and direction from project leadership.

· Ensure completion of the running of control input and output wiring from source locations to main panels, control desks, control posts, field devices, and related equipment.

· Verify that control inputs and outputs are properly routed, identified (& labelled), landed, and ready for checks, testing, and commissioning support.

· Ensure sensors, field devices, accessories, brackets, and related equipment are properly mounted, positioned, aligned, secured, and ready for validation.

· Review panel, device, junction box, motor box, and control box installations for workmanship, labeling, completion, and compliance with project requirements.

· Support electrical troubleshooting, continuity checks, point to point verification, and correction of wiring or installation issues as needed.

· Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, layout drawings, termination schedules, and equipment documentation.

· Assign tasks to electrician helpers and installation personnel while monitoring safety, productivity, quality, and completion status.

· Communicate progress, constraints, material needs, quality concerns, and field issues to project leadership, Thrive representatives, and client site contacts.

· Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while enforcing site safety requirements, PPE rules, lockout and tagout procedures, and proper tool and lift usage.

· Perform other project support duties as assigned by management or site leadership.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· Active Arkansas electrical license required.

· Industrial electrical experience in manufacturing, automation, controls, construction, automotive, material handling, or similar project environments.

· Ability to lead, by example, a small electrical field team and provide direction to electrician helpers and other installation personnel.

· Strong understanding of industrial power distribution, control wiring, panels, field devices, motor boxes, control boxes, sensors, and related equipment.

· Ability to read and work from electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and termination details.

· Experience with wire pulling, routing, dressing, labeling, terminations, panel work, device installation, and field checks.

· Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify installation issues before they affect project progress.

· Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and professional jobsite conduct.

· Experience supporting automation, conveyor, robotics, or industrial controls projects.

· Experience with commissioning support, loop checks, point to point verification, and punch list completion.

· Experience leading temporary project teams or supervising work in a fast paced industrial project setting.

· Familiarity with NEC requirements and site specific industrial electrical standards.

· Reliable attendance, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well with client representatives, controls personnel, contractors, and project leadership.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

· Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform hands on work throughout the shift.

· Ability to lift and carry materials and tools as required by the project.

· Comfortable working in an active industrial or construction style environment.

· Ability to wear required PPE and follow all site specific safety requirements.

· Ability to work overtime weekends, or extended shifts as needed based on project schedules.

Compensation and Support

A competitive hourly wage, overtime pay, and eligible onsite living expenses for candidates traveling from other locations (over 100 miles) will be provided to the successful candidate.
