About the role

EJC Engineer LLC is hiring a licensed plumber — master or journeyman — trained and confident on every component of a plumbing system installation for new construction. You will rough-in, set, test, and finish complete systems on commercial and residential projects across southern New Hampshire, northern Massachusetts, and southern Maine. We run organized, well-coordinated jobs and we expect the same back: clean work, accurate layout, and pride in what gets buried in the wall.

What you will install

Underground sanitary, storm, and vent systems — cast iron, PVC, and ABS DWV.
Above-ground DWV with proper grade, support, expansion joints, and cleanouts.
Domestic water distribution — copper (sweat, press), PEX, CPVC; backflow preventers, mixing valves, PRVs.
Natural gas and propane piping — black iron, CSST; pressure testing and certification.
Floor drains, floor sinks, cleanouts, trap primers, hub drains, and grease waste systems.
Water heaters and boilers — gas, electric, and indirect; expansion tanks, recirculation pumps, and venting.
Plumbing fixtures — commercial and residential; ADA-compliant rough-in and final set.
Medical gas, lab waste, or specialty piping a plus, not required.
Insulation, hangers, seismic restraint, firestopping, and penetrations per code.
Hydrostatic, air, and final code testing; punchlist completion and turnover.

What we are looking for

Active NH, MA, or ME Master or Journeyman plumbing license (one minimum; multi-state preferred).
Strong knowledge of the Uniform Plumbing Code, Massachusetts 248 CMR, NH PLU rules, and Maine plumbing code.
Able to read and lay out from architectural, plumbing, and structural drawings, including isometrics and submittals.
Comfortable on a coordinated jobsite — BIM/MEP coordination, sleeve and hanger layout, RFIs.
OSHA 10 minimum (OSHA 30 preferred), valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, own hand tools.
Backflow tester, medical gas, or gas fitter certifications a plus.
Professional, on time, drug-free, and able to lead a helper or apprentice.
