Overview
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced HVAC Service and Installation Supervisor to lead our team in delivering top-tier heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical services to the residential market. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be hands on in the field and oversee both service operations and installation projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. As a key leader, you will coordinate field technicians, manage complex HVAC systems, and uphold safety standards across all projects.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate HVAC service technicians and installation crews to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high safety and quality standards
Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment (including ammonia refrigeration), and plumbing components
Review schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately execute installation and service tasks
Conduct field inspections to verify proper equipment operation, troubleshoot issues using tools such as ohmmeters, and ensure compliance with industry codes and safety regulations
Manage inventory of parts and equipment necessary for service calls and installations; order supplies as needed
Provide technical guidance on complex projects involving mechanical knowledge such as welding, boiler systems, appliance repair, or property maintenance
Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including service reports, schematics updates, and project progress logs
Ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols; conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions

Experience

Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC systems
Demonstrated supervisory skills with the desire and ability to be hands on with installation and service projects
Extensive knowledge of HVAC design principles, schematics interpretation, and equipment repair techniques
Hands-on experience with equipment such as boilers, air conditioning units, mini splits, refrigeration systems, etc.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers or similar vehicles preferred

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
