Job Title: Security & Fire Alarm Foreman

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Security & Fire Alarm Foreman to lead and oversee commercial installation and service projects. This role involves supervising field technicians, ensuring top-quality workmanship, enforcing safety standards, and driving projects to completion on time. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, leadership experience, and a hands-on background in security and fire alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead a team of technicians on job sites
Install, program, test, and troubleshoot fire alarm and security systems
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
Ensure all work meets local, state, and national codes (NFPA, NEC, etc.)
Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and clients
Maintain project timelines and ensure deadlines are met
Perform system inspections, repairs, and maintenance as needed
Train and mentor junior technicians
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in fire alarm and/or security system installation
Previous leadership or foreman experience preferred
Strong knowledge of fire alarm panels, access control, and CCTV systems
Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Valid driver’s license required
Ability to pass background check and drug screening (if applicable)

Preferred Certifications (not required but a plus):

NICET Certification
Fire Alarm License (state-specific)
OSHA Certification

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 50+ lbs
Comfortable working on ladders and in various job site conditions
Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments
