Overview - We're looking for a controls panel build specialist to support our light manufacturing needs for UL 508a industrial control panel assembly and wiring for Large Scale Solar PV, Battery Storage, and advanced plant control.

Position Overview – This position is directly responsible for the manufacturing of our end-user control panel and power quality products sold under the Aderis brand. Manufacturing includes panel fabrication, wiring, power up, final testing, packing and shipping. Additionally, this position is responsible for maintaining Aderis build documentation, drawings, and support for inventory tracking. This position will be 100% office-based in our panel construction facility.

Specific Responsibilities – Include, but are not limited to:

Be a willing practitioner and positive advocate of Aderis’ safety culture and practices to maintain a zero-recordables work environment
Perform wiring assembly tasks to NEC and UL 508a Panel Build Standards
Complete work manually; with light hand tools and power tools
Read and follow wiring diagrams, schematics, and work instructions
Panel Fabrication; Stud Welding
Assist with the tracking and documentation of consumed parts and tools
Opportunity to support field installations at local project locations
Follow written processes, troubleshooting and systems procedure documentation
Attend technical training for new and existing equipment to support Aderis’ adoption and support of new equipment and technology

Minimum Qualifications

Proficient communicator via phone, email, and creating/following technical documents and using MS Office (or equivalent) software products.
Basic ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and follow work instructions
Basic hand tool knowledge
Basic power tool knowledge
Organizational skills (housekeeping)
Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
Attention to detail
Desire for continuous improvement and excellent attention to detail
Takes pride in work
Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly unassisted
Must pass background and drug test

Preferred Qualifications

Electrical wiring experience
Experience in production or assembly line setting
Experience troubleshooting electrical equipment
Experience with soldering
Experience using Modbus RTU (TCP and RS485) sensors
Forklift operating experience

Job Type: Full-time

Hourly: $18 - $20
