Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team! Duties

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration units, and ammonia refrigeration systems.
Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to ensure precise installation and repairs.
Conduct routine property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R equipment to maximize efficiency and longevity.
Perform plumbing work related to HVAC systems such as drainage, piping connections, and water supply lines.
Use diagnostic tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for repairs requiring metal fabrication.
Diagnose mechanical issues in HVAC equipment using mechanical knowledge and specialized tools; perform necessary repairs or replacements.
Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, incident logs, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Operate a driver vehicle safely for on-site visits or equipment transportation when required.
Support the team with appliance repair tasks related to heating or cooling systems to ensure seamless property operation.

Skills

At least 2 years of proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair.
Solid understanding of schematics, technical diagrams, and HVAC design principles.
Mechanical knowledge encompassing boilers, refrigeration systems (including ammonia refrigeration), plumbing, and appliance repair.
Field service experience working directly with clients in diverse environments; excellent problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and mechanical components.
Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; welding skills are a plus for metal repairs.
Knowledge of property maintenance procedures related to heating and cooling equipment; experience with boiler operation is advantageous.
Basic driver’s license with a clean record for safe transportation of equipment or personnel when needed.
Experience working with schematics for complex HVAC systems; understanding of HVAC design concepts is highly desirable.
