Responsibilities

Carefully disassemble headlights using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment, ensuring all components are removed without damage.
Reassemble parts accurately following technical specifications, auto repair standards, and safety guidelines.
Utilize plastic welding, soldering, and fabrication techniques to repair or modify parts as needed for headlight restoration.
Conduct detailed inspections of disassembled components for wear, damage, or corrosion; document findings thoroughly.
Operate airless paint sprayers and other finishing tools to restore appearance and protect surfaces during reassembly processes.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols; handle heavy lifting safely during component removal and installation.

Experience

Previous dealership experience or hands-on automotive repair background is highly preferred.
Skilled in MIG welding, fabrication, auto body repair, auto painting, and auto restoration techniques.
Strong mechanical knowledge with proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and sheet metal working tools.
Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures including auto glass installation and auto estimating is a plus.
Experience working with automotive components such as sheet metal parts, auto glass, and auto body panels.
Knowledge of automotive repair standards and safety regulations.
Customer service skills are beneficial for communicating effectively with team members and supporting quality work delivery.
