COMMERCIAL REFRIGERATION CONSTRUCTION INSTALLER

Sharpe Refrigeration, Inc. is a leader in Bio-Medical and industrial applications throughout the San Diego area and southern California. We have immediate openings in our Construction department. We are seeking applicants who can work independently and as part of a team, with proven experience in refrigeration construction and installation. Key Responsibilities

Refrigeration construction — Install refrigeration line sets, process piping, and walk‑in cooler/freezer panels
Equipment installation — Set, pipe, and wire commercial and industrial refrigeration equipment
Electrical & controls — Perform electrical control wiring and read electrical/mechanical schematics
Start‑ups & troubleshooting — Complete system start‑ups, verify performance, and diagnose issues
Brazing & welding — Braze and weld to industry standards
Team coordination — Work with project managers, technicians, and construction teams to meet deadlines

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial refrigeration construction
Experience with piping, line sets, process piping, electrical control wiring, walk‑in panel assembly, and equipment installation
EPA Certification required
Clean DMV record and ability to pass a background check
Must possess standard refrigeration tools
Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
Strong brazing and welding skills
Able to work in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments
Strong communication skills and professional appearance
