Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems across diverse property types. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor air quality, energy efficiency, and reliable climate control. Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems such as piping repairs or replacements.
Utilize diagnostic tools like ohmmeters and other equipment repair instruments to identify electrical or mechanical faults.
Repair equipment using soldering techniques or other mechanical skills as needed.
Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports for all performed tasks.

Skills

Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems with a strong background in property maintenance.
Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately; familiarity with HVAC design principles is a plus.
Mechanical knowledge encompassing refrigeration systems.
Skilled in plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, equipment repair, welding, and general maintenance tasks.
Experience working in field service environments with a focus on appliance repair and property upkeep.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred for transportation needs.
Knowledge of HVAC/R safety standards and the ability to follow detailed procedures for installation and repairs.
Familiarity with the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing; ability to interpret schematics accurately.
Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities to collaborate effectively with team members and clients. Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
