We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. Your expertise will help create comfortable, safe environments for our clients across various property types. Duties

Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems in residential, commercial, and industrial properties
Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions
Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system inspections, and calibration to prevent breakdowns and improve efficiency
Troubleshoot electrical components using tools like ohmmeters and perform equipment repairs or replacements as needed
Perform plumbing work related to HVAC systems including pipe fitting, leak detection, and ammonia refrigeration handling where applicable
Weld or fabricate parts for system repairs or modifications using appropriate techniques and safety standards
Maintain detailed service records, logs of inspections, repairs performed, and parts used for each job
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all service activities

Requirements

Proven experience as an HVAC service technician or mechanic with a strong background in construction or property maintenance
Knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration) systems including refrigeration cycles and ammonia refrigeration systems
Ability to read schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC design and installation processes
Mechanical aptitude with experience in appliance repair, boiler operation, welding, and equipment repair
Familiarity with plumbing systems related to HVAC applications
Field service experience with a focus on property maintenance or commercial/residential installations
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; driver certification preferred
Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on skills in equipment troubleshooting and repair
Ability to operate tools such as ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other diagnostic devices effectively
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges
