Join our dynamic team as an HVAC Technician, where your expertise will keep buildings comfortable, safe, and operating efficiently. In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems across diverse properties. Your hands-on skills and technical knowledge will ensure optimal performance of HVAC equipment while delivering exceptional service to clients. This position offers a chance to work on a variety of projects, from routine maintenance to complex system upgrades, in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration units (including ammonia refrigeration), and mechanical equipment.
Accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as pipe fitting and leak repairs.
Conduct field service visits to client sites for routine maintenance or urgent repairs on HVAC/R equipment.
Utilize tools and equipment for mechanical repairs.
Diagnose system problems using mechanical knowledge and technical skills; recommend solutions that improve efficiency and reliability.
Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs of all work performed; ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Operate company vehicles in accordance with safety policies; handle equipment repair tasks including appliance repair and component replacement.
Assist with HVAC design modifications or upgrades based on client needs or new building codes.
Support property maintenance efforts by ensuring HVAC systems are functioning optimally to prevent disruptions.

Experience

Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician or in a similar field service role.
Hands-on experience with construction projects involving HVAC installation or renovation is highly desirable.
Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design principles is essential.
Knowledge of refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is a plus.
Skilled in plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, boiler operation, and appliance repair.
Mechanical knowledge combined with experience operating diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
Demonstrated ability to work independently in the field while maintaining high safety standards.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
