Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Glazier/Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass and related fixtures across a variety of construction projects. Your expertise will help ensure that each installation meets safety standards, quality expectations, and project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial storefronts to residential remodels, contributing to beautiful and functional spaces.

Responsibilities

Measure, cut, fabricate, and install glass panels, windows, doors, and custom glass fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure precise installation.
Perform heavy lifting of glass sheets and framing materials safely and efficiently.
Apply caulking, trim carpentry, and metal stud framing techniques to secure glass fixtures properly.
Install doors, cabinets, fixtures, and trim carpentry components with attention to detail.
Use construction estimating skills to assess project needs and prepare accurate material lists.
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials on-site while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

Proven experience in glass installation, construction site work, or related fields such as remodeling or handyman services.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation.
Knowledge of fabrication processes and manufacturing techniques related to glass and fixture assembly.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as required.
Strong understanding of construction estimating, metal stud framing, drywall installation, caulking, and fixture hanging.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on precision in fabrication and installation tasks.
Valid experience in carpentry including door hanging, frame carpentry, remodeling projects, or construction painting is a plus.
