Overview
JLR Engineering Inc is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Structural Concrete Estimator / Project Manager to join our team. This role combines the critical responsibilities of accurately estimating concrete construction projects and effectively managing them from inception to completion. You will play a vital part in ensuring project success through precise cost analysis, strategic negotiation, and seamless coordination with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Responsibilities

Prepare detailed construction estimates for structural concrete projects, utilizing industry-standard software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Develop comprehensive project budgets, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs, while maintaining strict cost control measures.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to secure favorable terms that align with project goals.
Collaborate closely with project teams to develop schedules, manage procurement processes, and monitor project progress against budgets and timelines.
Oversee construction site activities related to concrete work, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality specifications, and contractual obligations.
Manage change orders, scope adjustments, and risk mitigation strategies to keep projects on track financially and operationally.
Facilitate clear communication among all stakeholders to promote transparency, resolve issues promptly, and foster strong professional relationships.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction estimating with a focus on heavy civil or structural concrete projects.
Strong proficiency in Procore
Demonstrated ability in negotiation tactics to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.
Solid understanding of construction management principles, including cost control, scheduling, safety protocols, and quality assurance.
Hands-on construction site experience related to concrete work or heavy civil projects is essential.
Knowledge of contracts, project management methodologies, and the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
