Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious NCCCO certified Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating various heavy equipment, including cranes, boom trucks, sky traks, and other equipment as needed. As a Crane Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials on roofing construction sites. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of projects while adhering to safety regulations and operational protocols. Up to $78 per hour with union benefits!

Responsibilities

Operate cranes and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently on roofing construction sites.
Perform pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
Load, unload, and move materials as directed, utilizing various types of equipment.
Collaborate with site supervisors and team members to coordinate lifting operations.
Maintain clear communication with ground personnel to ensure safe operation during lifts.
Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while operating machinery.

Experience

Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with cranes, sky traks, and boom trucks.
CDL A required
Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment.
Previous experience working on commercial roofing projects preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while following safety protocols.
